Gorgeous Gorges

We drove the other day north to the gorgeous Gorges de Toulerenc just near Malaucene. It took about an hour and a half but it's a lovely drive anyway. The gorge is just north of Mont Ventoux and is quite touristy, however it's easy to see why. The main reason for going is that one walks along in the river! Mostly it is no more than a foot deep however here and there it can be at least waist deep. It's a lot of fun particularly where the gorge narrows. It's possible to park near the bridge and we walked downstream. Next time, we'll explore upstream..
